The Substance is a cross-media project combining a tearable poster and an installation, exploring transformation, identity, and physical interaction. The poster invites viewers to peel away layers, turning a static surface into an active experience where the image is gradually altered through touch.

This idea extends into the installation, which reconstructs a fragmented environment using objects, light, and spatial arrangement. Together, the two formats shift the work from representation to experience—encouraging viewers to engage physically rather than passively observe.

By connecting print and space, the project investigates how identity and perception are not fixed, but continuously reshaped through interaction, removal, and reconstruction.
